Two new models in the “off toco” camera backpack range that can be used as regular daypacks by removing the camera innercase

ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji Hada) has launched, in late August, two new camera backpacks in the “off toco” series that can be used as daily backpacks by simply removing the camera inner case.

These new models are part of the “off toco” series, a new brand developed with fresh concepts, and are both equipped with a convenient pocket with a removable inner case where you can store a single-lens reflex camera or a mirror-less interchangeable-lens camera. This dedicated and removable pocket makes it easy to smoothly take out the camera and lens whenever you have to take a quick shot.

The DGB-S028 series is the higher grade model equipped with high performance features. It is a two-style backpack which means you can also use it as a daily backpack if you take out the inner camera case when not using the camera. Also, the backpack has a separator inside which can be removed in order to combine the two chambers into one large chamber.

The bag is designed to fit a camera and lens in its bottom inner case, providing a quick access to them from both side openings. The side openings have handles and double zippers, making it easier to take out the inner case. The inner case has an adjustable divider to create space to accommodate whatever you want to store. In addition, the front surface of the backpack has buckle straps to attach a tripod. The entire surface is finished with a water repellent coating* and the bottom of the backpack has a built-in rain cover which will protect the backpack from a sudden rain fall. The back side has a space for separately storing notebook PCs up to 15.6 inches wide and two zipper pockets for small items, such as smartphones, allowing you to put away or take out items without having to take off the backpack. Besides those, the backpack is equipped with plenty of pockets everywhere for storing various small items. In addition, it comes with a detachable pouch attached to the shoulder strap, allowing you to quickly store small items, such as SD cards. Above all, the backpack is loaded with ideas that help you carry it for a long period of time without getting fatigued.

The DGB-S029 series is a smaller backpack compared to the DGB-S028 series. The shoulder straps can be tacked inside the pocket to turn the backpack into a camera carrying box. There are two handles; one for carrying the box horizontally and the other for carrying the box vertically. Also, you can use the bag as a regular daypack by removing the inner case when not using the camera. The front flap opens up completely so that the camera inner case can be easily removed or inserted. The inner case has an adjustable divider to accommodate a camera and lens separately. And it is also equipped with straps to help keep the items safely in each slot, preventing them from falling out.

The back side has a storing space for notebook PCs up to 13.3 inches wide and there are buckle straps to attach a tripod on the side. The backpack is equipped with plenty of pockets for storing small items. The entire surface is finished with a water repellent coating* and all the zippers are water repellent.
